Kara joined Wingate in 2013 as a part-time Corporate Accountant taking on the corporate accounting and budgeting duties.

Kara brings more than 15 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis to Wingate. Prior to joining Wingate, Kara was the Controller at Tax Credit Asset Management, LLC, an Accounting Manager at Municipal Mortgage & Equity, LLC and a Senior Accountant at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. Most recently, she has been consulting for various companies on a part-time basis providing accounting and financial analysis services. She received her B.A. from Colgate University and her M.S. in Accounting from Old Dominion University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.

Kara is married with three children. When she is not shuttling them from activity to activity, she enjoys biking, golf, running and reading.
