As a Senior Financial Advisor, Peter has provided financial planning advice and investment guidance for over 30 years. A former teacher, Peter applies his teaching skills to helping clients understand how planning and investment decisions affect their daily lives, as well as their future. He sees the process as a collaborative effort, and he prides himself on his ability to work closely with clients to create financial strategies that meet their unique personal needs.

Peter was one of the original founders of Wingate in 1986, and he has spent more than 30 years helping to build it into one of the region’s premier wealth management companies. A Certified Financial Planner™, Peter holds several degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Brown University, and an MBA from Babson College.

Peter and his wife Laurie enjoy summer vacations in Maine, and visiting and photographing America’s national parks. He loves the outdoors, and is an avid hiker, skier, and fly-fisherman. Peter and Laurie have six adult children, all living in New England.
