The Process

Financial planning is a dynamic process, not a one-time event. Over time, we’ll review your financial plan often to ensure it always reflects any changes in your life, your goals, and, of course, economic conditions.

The Process

Financial Planning with Wingate is a relaxed, engaging, and thought-provoking experience. We’ll help you build a solid plan so you can move forward with confidence.

Financial Planning Process

    Step 1: Determine Financial Situation

You provide us the financial information you have so we can review your current financial situation. Don’t worry about this being complicated. Just give us what you can. You can enter information securely online or bring us a box of paper statements, whatever works for you.

    Step 2: Evaluate Financial Goals

Here’s where the conversation begins. We establish your goals by discussing your hopes and dreams – as well as the things that keep you up at night. Together we figure out the priorities for you and your family.

    Step 3: Assess Risk

We analyze your financial data, help get you organized, and piece together the puzzle. We work to help you understand where you are today and where you are headed.

    Step 4: Create Plan

Now that we understand your goals and your current situation, we create a comprehensive financial plan that brings all the pieces together. This is our map for moving you forward. This is also the fun part of the process where we walk you through an interactive presentation.

    Step 5: Implement Plan

We help coordinate all aspects of your plan to protect and invest in your family’s future. Here is where we select asset allocation and identify the to-do’s (yours and ours). We can collaborate with any accountants, attorneys, or insurance agents to make sure all actions are in sync.

Step 6: Review and Revise Plan

We will review your plan periodically to make sure we’re on track and to help you make better financial decisions.

Life happens, things change.

We will continue our conversation to ensure your plan remains aligned with your priorities, goals, and circumstances.
